Iā€™m a London-based, Los Angeles-raised science and health journalist and RYT-200 certified yoga teacher.

I'm a senior science reporter at Business Insider, where I write about health, neuroscience, and the environment.

I am a Punch Sulzberger Scholar whose work has appeared in Business Insider, Scientific American, Popular Science, Newsweek, Psychology Today, Mic.com, and the World Science Festival.

I received a master's degree from the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism, focusing on health and science, and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego in Race and Gender Studies and Environmental Science.

I'm also a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certified yoga instructor, having completed my ashtanga vinyasa 200-hour training with The Yoga People in London.
