Erin is a San Francisco-based, Los Angeles-raised science and health journalist and RYT-200 certified yoga teacher.
She's a science correspondent at Business Insider, where she writes about nutrition, neuroscience, and genetics. Her reporting has taken her all over the globe, from a sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica to a biohacker lab in Brooklyn to a 4am rave in London.
Erin is a Punch Sulzberger Scholar. Her work has appeared in Business Insider, Scientific American, Popular Science, Newsweek, Psychology Today, Mic.com, and the World Science Festival.
She received a master's degree from the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego.
Erin is also a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certified yoga instructor and completed her ashtanga vinyasa 200-hour training with The Yoga People in London.
